Sustainable, humanely raised, top-grade beef, when you want it

Whether you’re making steaks, roasts, ribs, or burgers, everyone knows that the key to a great meal is to start with great beef. Out of the great Northwest, Snake River Farm and Double R Ranch bring you the kind of beef that will turn your kitchen or patio into your favorite restaurant. And now some of their most popular roasts and steaks, from Choice to Prime, are being offered to BBE subscribers for an exclusive, can’t-miss deal of 40 percent off the regular price.

Two parts of a family-owned business founded back in the ‘60s, Snake River Farms and Double R Ranch handle every step of the process of bringing you top-quality beef, from raising grass-fed and grain-finished cattle to delivering individually vacuum-sealed cuts straight to your door. The hardest part is merely choosing from the mouthwatering selection.

Aged 28 days, Snake River Farms’ better-than-USDA-Prime beef comes from American Wagyu cattle—a cross of Japanese Wagyu and American breeds. The results are hand-cut and shaped by master butchers, requiring neither trimming nor fussing—beautifully marbled rib roasts, thick, juicy rib eyes, lean slab of tenderloin, and luscious filet mignons.

For a taste of Northwest beef, Double R Ranch works carefully with hand-selected ranchers who raise cattle on the grasslands of the Okanagan region, delivering premium beef that’s all USDA Choice or higher grade. No matter which cut you’re partial to, Double R Ranch’s meat tastes “the way beef used to taste.”

Roasts 101: Set it and forget it

Cooking a whole roast may seem daunting, but in reality it’s super simple. The larger size cut, combined with Snake River Farms’ gorgeously marbled meats, makes roasting easy. Just season the meat liberally with salt and pepper, and roast in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for about 20 minutes per pound, until it reaches your desired temperature.
