Godfrey’s Haunted Hotel party has hauntings galore
Looking for a little fright to go along with your cocktails? Stop in to the Godfrey’s Haunted Hotel party on Saturday, October 27. The party is centered around the IO Godfrey rooftop lounge, which has special cocktails for the occasion, and spreads out over 20 different guest rooms, all done up as haunted scenes. The event is technically sold out, but they are releasing a limited number of tickets for $150 per person this week for last-minute event-goers, available on their website.

Halloween means… meatballs? At Bar Roma
It might not be the most obvious place for a haunting, but head to Bar Roma in Andersonville on October 31 for a costume party with some great specials and prizes. First, between 5 and 6:30 p.m., and again between 9 and 10 p.m., all apps and meatballs will be half price, which is good enough reason to go even if you aren’t celebrating pumpkin season. If you participate in their costume contest, you get free dessert, and if you win or place, you could get a hefty gift certificate to the restaurant.

Funk it up at The Langham Hotel
Yearning for some disco? Head to the Langham Hotel on Saturday night, October 27, where the second floor is totally in costume for the holiday. The theme: 1970s Studio 54, complete with costumed staff, special cocktails, and plenty of four-on-the-floor beats. Wear your very best leisure suit and come visit—there’s no charge to attend.

Get spooky on a boat with Bar Biscay
At Bar Biscay, they’re celebrating Halloween in style with a Yacht Rock Halloween Extravaganza. On the big night, starting at 10 p.m., they’ll be hosting Chicago’s best Yacht Rock DJ for a big party, complete with $1 shots of their new house-made vermouth fortified with Malort. Even if you’re not wearing a costume, that stuff might give you some spooky feelings.

Halloween Happy Hour at SideDoor
At SideDoor, the bar/restaurant attached to Lawry’s:The Prime Rib, they’re hosting a whole bunch of special happy hour deals in honor of Halloween. From now through October 31, between 4 and 6 p.m., oysters are $1, draft beers and small plates are half off, and there’s a $10 seasonal cocktail. And no costumes are required—just an appetite.

Go to jail at Links Taproom
At Links Taproom, the whole restaurant is dressing up for Halloween. It’s becoming “Clinks: Department of Corrections,” with new décor inspired by the great Hollywood prison movies. They’re going all out for Halloween–pretty awesome. They’ll have a special “commissary” themed menu, including both food and cocktails. The craziness runs from October 26 to November 3.

Art it up at FMK
Wear your funkiest to Fulton Market Kitchen on October 31, because they’re hosting a free (!)—and awesome—Halloween party. The restaurant, known for its epic interiors and art collection, is throwing the "Come As You Art" party, where guests are encouraged to wear art-themed costumes (or whatever they want, really) and enjoy FMK’s late night menu and free cocktails from Maker’s Mark.
