The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival kicks off April 27, and you can get a taste of the annual bash without leaving Chicago on April 29 at Frontier. Along with live music, and all-you-can-eat crawfish, corn and potatoes for $35, drink in the flavor of the Big Easy with $8 frozen daiquiris and $5 Abita beer.

The restaurant inside The Robey Chicago goes well beyond your standard spaghetti with its Thursday specials, that has featured beet fettuccini with smoked crème fraiche, and four mushroom stir fry with udon. Normally $44, you can pair your pasta with a bottle of wine starting at just $22.

Say cheese fest at Concord Fifty Five
Satisfy your cravings at this cheese fest–produced by Social Power Hour–by trying bites from restaurants including Roots Pizza and Blackwood BBQ, then vote for your favorite to be dubbed the "Big Cheese." Sessions run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 to 3 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. April 15, and the $45 tickets include five (count ‘em!) drinks.
