Mohawk Bend — vegans and carnivores, happy at last in a sea of craft beer

Vegans and vegetarians—you’re covered. But don’t send those carnivores packing just yet. They’re included too, at this restaurant from the owner of Tony's Darts Away in Burbank. At this Echo Park outpost chef Drew Coleman is serving up a special mix of upscale grub and vegan fare (which even has its own prep area), with 72 taps of craft beer to wash it down. As for the burgers and the pizzas sailing out of the open kitchen, they’re something special. Vegan or not, don't leave without at least one order of the buffalo cauliflower.

The large indoor-outdoor space was designed by Kristopher Keith of Spacecraft and includes a front patio area, back skylight room with soaring brick walls, large concrete communal table, two fireplaces, and the most comfortable orange bar stools in town.

High. The back patio is quieter.
